Parents,

As we are gearing up for another school year, we are doing our best to navigate the COVID conditions of the latest variant. As we continue to monitor the most recent Covid reports, we will be developing protocols that consider the well-being of our student-body.

At this point in time, we plan for students to start next Monday, August 9th. As we begin, the wearing of masks will be optional. We trust parents to make the decisions that are best for their child’s health. We will work with parents to facilitate their choices to the extent that we are able and permitted by local authorities. We will continue to be sensible in an effort to facilitate good hygiene and good choices that help keep our students and staff safe, but the final choice for a child to wear a mask or not wear a mask will be left up to parents.

Our staff is also developing fallback plans to be prepared to adhere to appropriate quarantining protocols. In addition to us drafting quarantining plans, we are also redrafting our staggered schedule to implement so that we could continue to operate in-person while doing our best to consider the safety of everyone.
