A Video-Lesson Happening During The Love of God & Lunch
Parents,
As a school, we continue to pour Scripture into our students’ hearts! Teachers teach God’s Word in class in countless ways and we recite Scripture throughout parts of our day, too!
Two of the main-lanes we teach them Scripture is through Breakfast & Bible for 3rd-5th and The Love of God & Lunch K-2nd. In these classes, we spend the bulk of our time learning about the narrative of Scripture. We go through books of the Bible.
In Breakfast & Bible, we are now closing our 1st & 2nd Kings Unit. We will start in Exodus tomorrow. In The Love of God & Lunch, students are going through Genesis and we are learning about Joseph this week (click here for our theme song used throughout our unit on Joseph), then we will also slide into Exodus. In Exodus, Moses receives the Ten Commandments from the Lord. A song that the students enjoy about the Ten Commandments can be found by clicking here.
Remember, if something is important to you as their parents, it will be important to them, as your children. Go out of your way to talk with them about what they are learning in Bible Class, in all of their classes. Listen to these songs with them. It greatly helps them to know that Scripture and school is important to you. Thank you, parents, for your support! I count it an honor to share in helping raise these precious children. It is a role I do not take lightly.
